Blue Tao Elephant Village is not only to improve the living conditions of our rescued elephants in ethical way, but also to coexist with the Karen Hill Tribe community near our base camp. We support and buy some agricultural products from them to use for elephant food such as Napier grasses, corn stumps, sugar canes and bananas. We sponsor some village' activities such as Mother's Day, Children's Day, help provide some equipment for the public health center. In return, they (the hill tribe people) help us to protect and keep clean the community forest and jungle waterfalls, creating a firebreak in the summer.

. 08:45 - 09:15 AM. Pick up from your hotel or accommodation.
. Drive about 1.5 hours along the picturesque jungle road towards Southwest of Chiang Mai.

. Our Blue Tao Elephant Village is located in the deep lush forest next to The North Rim of Doi Inthanon

National Park. You will see the White Karen Hill Tribe villages, fruit farms, and rice paddy fields on the way.

. Arrival at our elephant village. Then you will change into a traditional Karen hill tribe t-shirt and be ready

for the all day jungle adventure.

. You will learn about Asian elephant story, the daily life of elephants and our elephant village background.

. At the elephant wok station, learn about the ingredients and help cook herbal medicine rice balls for elephants.
. Learn how to approach elephants safely, different correct ways to feed them, interact and cuddle them.

. Hiking with our rescued elephants (No Riding) for 1.5 hours through the most beautiful Chiang Mai lush forest until you reach
the S Frame Waterfall, a 100 meters' high beautiful waterfall. You can see some wild orchids, bananas, pine woods,

squirrels and birds along the way. (Our hiking area right next to The North Rim of Doi Inthanon National Park).

. Enjoy eating your picnic lunch in a Jungle Treehouse overlooking S Frame Waterfall. ( Admire the beautiful waterfall at the

same time, this is the 100 % really unique place in Chiang Mai ).

. In the afternoon we will walk downhill to a large plunge pool of the S Frame Waterfall. Time is yours, you can help

bath, swimming, and giving body scrub to these intelligent elephants in the large waterfall, a golden moment for taking

photo or video shooting with these friendly pachyderms.

. Set off and start easy hiking back for 1.5 hours to our elephant village base camp by following the elephant's slow pace.

After arrival at the base camp, feeding some more rice ball treats and food to the elephants and saying goodbye.

. Take your time for a nice and cool shower, dry off, and then change back into your own clothes.

. Foot Spa session for you - Soaking your feet in warm water with flower herbs and salt to relax after hiking. At the same

time you will enjoy eating seasonal fresh fruits and snacks in our restaurant among the great ambience of trees.

. A time to leave the Blue Tao Elephant Village, jungle drive about 1.5 hours return to the city of Chiang Mai.
